Not many couples are as cute as Jillian and Steven!  Let me just say that they are freaking adorable.   We had the best time with them and their families.

It was a gorgeous day at Admiral's Cove and we had the best vendor team.

Hey all...yeah we know it's never easy to talk about money.  But talking about and being honest about your wedding budget is crucial.

It is important to have a clear idea of how much you are willing to spend before you start making any decisions.

The word budget can mean something different to each wedding couple. The definition of a budget is "an amount of money that is available for, required for, or assigned to a particular purpose." When it comes to weddings, your budget may include everything from the cost of the venue and catering to the cost of your wedding dress and flowers. For some, it may be a set dollar amount that they are willing to spend on the entire wedding. Others may have a more flexible budget that allows them to spend more in certain areas and less in others. Having a budget does not mean that the wedding is any less luxurious or DIY, it simply allows couples to be more mindful of their spending and make choices that are in line with their overall vision for the day.

There are a few different ways that you can go about setting up your wedding budget.

- Decide how much you are willing to spend. This is the first and most important step. You need to have a clear idea of your budget before you start making any decisions.

- Make a list of all the costs associated with weddings. This includes things like the venue, catering, flowers, decorations, music, etc.

- Determine which costs are most important to you. This will help you prioritize your spending and make sure that you are getting the most important things for your money.

- Start making decisions based on your budget. Once you have a clear idea of what you can afford, you can start to narrow down your options and make more informed decisions.

-Be honest with your wedding pros about what you can and can't afford.  It saves stress and heartache in the long run.

If you are looking for some help setting up your wedding budget, then look no further! Our team at Fabuluxe Events has years of experience and can help you figure out your wedding budget. We are excited to share Leeann and Matt's fantastic wedding at Jupiter Beach Resort.  But first a little bit of a story.  I met Leeann and Matt in 2019.  They always wanted a summer 2021 wedding.  And then Covid arrived in our lives.  Our plan was to stay the course and just take it all one day at a time.  We kept going with wedding weekend planning.  Matt continued his job as a golf pro and Leeann and kept working as a veterinarian.  We were jamming along. Bridesmaid dresses were ordered.  And then the company from which we ordered them went out of business due to covid.  Ok, so creative thinking we were able to order direct from the manufacturer.  All was good until the DHL that was taking the dresses to their processing center caught on fire.  Yep, that's right folks bridesmaid dresses were destroyed in a DHL truck fire.  Definitely a first for this wedding planner.  Thankfully the manufacturer was able to make and resend them quickly.  So let that be a lesson to order things early!

And the beachfront welcome party with fabulous steel drummer.  Perfection for a summer South Florida night.

What made Leeann and Matt's wedding so incredible was all of the personal touches.

Their knot tying ceremony was perfectly them and symbolized the strength of their relationship.

She was the third generation bride in her family to use the same cake topper.

There were chocolate recreations of their doggies peaking out the cake.

Leeann's bespoke cowboy boots were fire. Did we mention that they live in Texas?!

Her custom denim jacket was the perfect compliment to her boots.

All the groomsmen were given socks that had pictures of Matt's face on them.   ;-)

The poem her dad wrote for he and recited during his speech, made everyone at the reception cry.

Matt and Leeann named their signature cocktails after their doggies.

They shared so many beautiful family photos on their memory table.  We loved seeing wedding photos from multiple generations in their families.

And the blue smoke during their sunset photos was the perfect against the waning light of the evening.

And the chocolates from Hoffman's Chocolates that were the favors for each guest were so yummy!

All of these little details are what makes a wedding unique and personal.  All of their guests left the wedding feeling as though they got to know a little bit more about them. Everyone had an incredible weekend and that's what it's all about.  People came from near and far to share in their love and witness them making a lifetime commitment to each other.  And that my friends is what all of this is all about!

As always it takes an incredible team to create such memories.  We want to thank all of the following:

We have all heard the terms Mini-Wedding or Micro-Wedding recently.   With the Coronavirus changing how we celebrate, it's time to talk about Mini-Weddings and Micro-Weddings....SPOILER ALERT -  We have done them for years!  One of our most favorite weddings had only 11 guests...and was planned that way from the beginning.

Wanting to celebrate Love, Commitment and Family will never go away.  So, we adapt and change.  Though some days it feels as though the rules about social gatherings are constantly changing, your wedding professionals are here to help navigate through these challenging times.

A Mini or Micro Wedding is a wedding that usually has 50 guests or fewer.  Before the Pandemic, these were called - small-intimate weddings.  But with the Pandemic, these weddings have gained in popularity and with the smaller guest counts, social distancing and other health guidelines can be followed.

When planning a small-intimate wedding during this confusing time, having wedding professionals to help guide you through the rules and regulations is crucial!

You will need to understand:

    • Venue Capacity Limits
    • Social Distancing Guidelines
    • Food Service Changes and Updates for Safety
    • New protocols vendors have instituted to keep their teams safe
    • Mask, temperature checks and other guidelines that may be required per your municipality

But even with all of those additional items, a small-intimate wedding will create memories that last a lifetime. You are celebrating your love for each other, the joining of two families, the commitment two people are making...and no pandemic can ever stop that.

We are sharing photos from our favorite Mini-Weddings from over the past 10 years...and they are STUNNING!  So go for the opulent decor, the fantastic meal, the beautiful dress and sharp tuxedo.  With less guests, you will find that you have more room in the budget...so go for it!

Today we are celebrating Dr. and Mrs. Jillian Popper!  Jillian and Drew are the cutest ever!  We had so much with them and their wedding party! The after party lasted well into the night and wee hours of the morning!  Drew had us laughing all day...he was so cute!  Jillian and her girls had the most comfy, adorable PJs for getting ready...totally wanted to steal a pair! The band kept the dance floor jamming and the stone crab claws were a highlight of the night!

Once again a huge thank you to everyone who made this magic happen:
